WordPress did not kill me.  I can say this with pride!  For those of you who do not know what WordPress is, it’s the “go to” platform that most of today’s best websites are built on.  For those of you who do know what it is, you can appreciate those first few nights spent awake till 3:00am because your margins aren’t set quite right.  It was a battle!

So why did I go through all the trouble of building a website?

The reason I built this site was to be able to share useful information about the human body and our overall health.

I thought I had a good grasp on what was happening within my own body before I went back to school for massage therapy, but soon discovered I was wrong.  Even after countless courses in anatomy, physiology, neurology and clinical assessment I have only begun to scratch the surface.  There will always be room for me to learn more about the body and I encourage those reading this blog to come and learn something new as well.

After all your body is kind of important.

So what kind of things will I be talking about here?

I will be sharing information on common physical ailments in the body, common everyday issues that most people pass off as “normal” aches and pains (spoiler – they aren’t).  I will be talking about how the different manual therapies (massage therapy included) address these conditions.  For those of you that like to dig deeper into the science behind the things we experience in our everyday lives, I will be sharing different studies as I come across them in the never-ending quest of continuing education.  I will also be sharing information on common remedial exercises like stretching and strengthening techniques and how they relate to our everyday activities.  All health related info will be fair game and I might even sneak a few pictures of our cat in if I get the chance.

So with that all said, I once again welcome you to bookmark this page, sign up for the newsletter and like us on Facebook.  You spend 24 hours a day and 7 days a week living inside your body, so investing a couple of extra minutes a day into the betterment of your body will always pay off.
